APTTC - DEC. SPONSOR DR. DIGI

Hello and welcome to my blog.  For the month of December I am the Guest Designer for the challenge happening over at
Our sponsor this month is Dr. Digi and I am using the Hi-Fi-Hugh.
As soon as I saw the image I knew right away what I was going to create.  The image was downloaded onto my printer and uploaded it to Canva where I downsized the image to the ATC size I wanted.
The entire image was colored with Copic markers.
The background was 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" white card stock pressed through the Switch machine using a Tim Holtz small brick embossing folder.  I then used my Distress Inks, barn door, fired brick and finished around the borders with black soot.
The blue graffiti splatter with the word "ART" was hand drawn.

Janet Klein-Vera Lane - Starry Night Joy Ride

One of my favorite ATC creations. The car is from AALL & Create and the passengers are from different Vera Lane collections that I threw together.
Everything else was hand drawn.
TH distress inks, spiced marmalade, salty ocean, uncharted mariner and black soot inks.
I cut out the 3 window panels to see through them, that took a while and a very sharp exacto knife.  A white pen for the stars and  copic markers.
Another fun task, btw, my table is a mess. 😜
Stay humble and safe.

Janet Klein-Vera Lane - Emily Anne - Autumn

Sharing my Emily Anne Autumn image from
Here I share a mixed media ATC featuring one of the many Emily Anne images.  I began with a blank ATC.

A Leaf stencil by Studio Light.  I used Ranger texture paste, allowed it to dry.  TH distress ink spiced marmalade throughout the card.
Emily Anne was painted with copic markers.

A Martha Stewart maple leaf stamp was used for the larger leaves, each one was distressed.  Some elements from the AALL & Create EP-86 package (lamp post & foreground stones).

Hope you enjoy and thanks for passing by.

Janet Klein-January 👒

Hello everyone, back with another image by Janet Klein from Vera Lane Studios.

This image is titled “January Hats”  I began with lightly coloring the background with distress inks Salty Ocean.

For the foreground I used clear crackle from Tim Holtz which is hard to see (I will try and post a close up).  The snow drifts were created by tearing pieces of frosted vellum and inking the edges with distress inks Salty Ocean.  I colored the images with my Copic markers, the igloo was hand drawn and not part of the collection, there is a small bird which I didn’t include only because I forgot about it. 🫢

Thanks for swinging by and I hope I inspired you.

ATC Vera Lane Digital It’s Fall Y’all

ATC I began with TH distress inks, images were colored with my Copic markers.  The falling leaves were from a Martha Stewart leaf punch and each was colored with distress inks, veins on leaves were hand drawn with a Sepia Copic 0.3 Multi-Liner.

The tree on the side and distant birds waere hand drawn as well as the distant mountains, used the same Vera Lane mountains from her “Hiker” collection.
The grass, bird and turtle and mushroom were also from other Vera Lane collections.  White splatter towards the end.

Janet Klein - Vera Lane Circus In Town Layout

The Circus is in town!  Come one, come all!
What fun, fun, fun I had creating with Janet's beautiful Vera Lane Studio digital creations.  They can be downloaded from Etsy/Vera Lane Studio Digitals or at Vera Lane Studio Digitals.  Each piece was colored with my faithful Copic markers.   Each digital image was downloaded and resized on Canva.
All these images are from Janet Klein's collection which can be found on Etsy/Vera Lane Studio Digitals.

Here are some of the images I colored with Copic markers.

Another fun project.  Hope you have been inspired.
Be well.

2 ATCs by Stampoutique

These were created for a challenge I joined with the Katzelkraft & Stampoutique FB.  These stamps were mutated, I switched the dog's heads and the character on the left had longer legs.  I hand drew the entire background and the base of where he stands which is a rooftop.  The brick underneath is part of a 12x12 page I cut to fit.
The smaller character of the ATC on the right was much bigger and I minimized him.  The grass was from a roll of grass that I cut down to size.
Lots of details to look into.
Thanks for passing by.
