Welcome back to my blog!
June along with one of my long time favorite digi sponsor, Dr Digi.
Over the past few decades of being on various design teams I've accumulated a few digi images from Dr. Digi. Love the weirdness of his images.
I have been guest designing for
monthly challenge where its always anything goes. Create any project and share in the challenge.
I began with the main image, Cathy the Cashier.
I created the grocery store and not only did I include Cathy at her cashier register, I also threw in some of her elderly neighborhood friends and pup which are also Dr. Digi images.
The background grocery store is an entirely different scenario.
As I colored in these images I saw some grumpiness, some who did not want to lose their youth, one who smiles yet is getting by one day at a time with the help of her bestest loyal friend.
Then we have Cathy the cashier who smiles with her customer friends. She always has an encouraging word for each and every one of them. Stay well, she says we can make it one day at a time and a little help from our friends.
Keep smiling...
a simple smile can cheer the lowly one.
With my Copic markers I began to color in the images one by one
Then I began tackling the background and food displays.
On the background wall, I used Tim Holtz's distress ink Dried Marigold.
Don't forget to head over and check out the other team member's awesome cards.
Don't forget to swing by the challenge happening over at
A Perfect Time To Craft
and win some digital images to make your own creations with.
Stay well and keep smiling.
